I ordered the pair with a raw hem and received a pair with a finished hem! I kept them bc I’m lazy and hate returning things. Also, they fit well and are comfortable, but you can get a pair of comparable jeans at Old Navy for half the price. Will not be buying more! I’m 5’2”, 111 lbs, I ordered 27 short and the fit was perfect. These jeans are great other than the fact that they are too loose around the waist for me. I ordered a size 6, my measurements are 39 in hips, 20 in thighs, & 28 in waist. I persistently have an issue finding jeans that fit my hips AND waist, so these pants are a pretty solid average in fit. Not so loose that I couldn’t use a belt, however. Good stretch, thick fabric, very denim-like, as I was afraid they would be too thin. Not the item that was pictured. These pants have a regular stitched hem. The photo shows a frayed hem which is what I wanted. Had to return. Disappointed.Perfect fit and in good condition. However, they smelled of perfume right out of the plastic bag, which clearly means that either it was someone's fragrance still on, or (possibly worse for me), someone bought them, used them and then washed them with some detergent that has a strong aroma booster, which I am allergic to. It literally gives me hives. If that wasn't bad enough already, I found that person's trash in the right pocket (see photo). Absolutely GROSS. I'm now washing them hoping to get rid of that perfume, and hoping not to get hives from it. I was hoping to buy a brand new pair of pants for almost 50 bucks, instead of a recycled one that no one even cared to check before selling again. Hence, my 2 stars.UPDATE a few days later: the fragrance was gone after the wash, which means it wasn't one of those impossible to get rid of aroma boosters, at least the silver lining is that I won't get hives. Heh.I sized up based on the recommendations. Normally in high-rise jeans it isn't uncalled for for me to have to size up. However I'm a devout fan of the Daily Ritual (another Amazon brand) and I don't have to size up in those. I should have stuck with my matching size based on those. I can still wear these, but because of the stretch, by the end of the day the fit is an annoying reminder that I bought the wrong size. These jeans fit me perfectly! I am petite and I have a pear figure (small waist and larger hips). I struggle finding jeans that fit well. Most jeans are way too big in the waist if the hips fit; and if the waist fits, they are too tight in the hips and thighs. The short length was spot on for me, hitting at the ankles. The hips and thighs were fitted, but not too snug. I was amazed that the waist had barely any gap at all. I’d say they were about as perfect a fit as I could get. And the price was so good, I’ll be buying more.Generally suspicious of buying jeans without trying them on first but I got lucky with these Sturdy denim with a tiny bit of stretch, not-too-terribly-shallow front pockets and decently-sized back pockets. The band hits just around the belly button. I like wearing my jeans a little short to showcase my socks, but you could always get the normal version. For reference though, these’re the short versions in 26. I’m 5’3.5” ~106lbs and I wear these jeans more than any other pair of trousers in my closet so I can wholeheartedly recommend.Very well made. I got the beige color to wear with some tan boots. I’ll buy more if this brand. Terrific value. I got size 26 and they’re a bit roomy but look niceBearing in mind these aren't expensive jeans, I still expected them to last longer than a few months. The fabric felt nice and a decent weight but over time the bit where thighs rub went bobbly then completely threadbare in about 3mths (not continuous wear but a couple of days most weeks). I'm not the fattest person but I don't have a thigh gap which i thought was pretty average but maybe jeans aren't made for people my shape! The high waist is also ....well...higher than I'd have thought. When sitting on my natural waistline, they bagged a bit at the crotch which may have contributed to the excess wear between thighs. Good fit otherwise and kept a reasonably amount of colour even after a few washes.Anyway, despite initially being pleased with the quality, I won't be buying them again as I've bought jeans at a similar price point before and they've lasted longer than these.I got the grey jeans in a size 29 and I am a 10-12 normally. I found them big. They are not that stretchy and they feel like quite stiff jeans. They are not like jeggings or as stretchy as I wanted. A 28 probably would have been better. When I washed them and put them in the dryer they didnt shrink. I will wear them around the house. The grey colour was nice and true to the picture. Length was also normal, nothing extreme. I got regular length and I am 5'4.Other reviewers have mentioned the jeans as fitting small. The grey jeans absolutely do not fit small. Maybe there is a variation amongst the colours and sizes. This is ridiculous if true. I wouldnt repurchase or try different colours. Cant recommend. The jeans are comfortable and they suit me perfectely. BUT, they lasted less than 6 months and literally worn them 10 times. Haven't eally worn them all summer. Today they "died" the material ripped and realised how bad the material really is. It looke like I had these jeans for 3 years.Don't waste your money. These are the only jeans that I have found that really fit well! Nevertheless I had to go down through the sizes to get the perfect one (27" short) The high waist is flattering and the quality of the material very good with a slight stretch which is perfect for me, as I like them quite tight.
