Finally a pair of high rise jeans that dont gape in the waist, I spend a good amount of time searching for pairs that don't. Haven't really purchased Lee before besides the one time I found some at goodwill. I have to say I really like Lee and it's the dense, soft stretch that I search for so much in jeans that are characteristic of good expensive jeans. They are very simmilar to regular Levis (the ones with stretch). I figured Lee would be great quality since they have been making jeans for over 100 years next to Levi and they didn't disappoint, and I love the price too. I'm happy paying $30 for a pair that will last me for years. They are listed as ankle jeans and they are about an inch from from the floor consistent with other ankle jeans I have. They are the perfect length in my opinion. I am 5'3" measure 37- 29 - 44, weigh 148lbs and wear a 34C or D bra, i purchased a size 30 and they meaure 15" across true to their size (this is my normal size i wear a 8/29 or 10/30 depending on style, fabric content and brand) and they fit great. If your on the fence and if you have a larger mid section i would go with larger size. One thing to note I purchased the Anchor color and they appear a truer blue shade in person whereas the photo they seem more vintage slightly brown wash in the photo. Also there is a line down the front and back of the jeans that isn't really reflected in product photo that comes up to crotch area, kinda wish it wasn't there but I don't really notice it so much when I have them on. Knocked a star for those two things. Someone said the sizing varies depending on wash, I can't speak to that but the Anchor is true to size and a great option if you have a big difference between your waist and hips like I do. I recommend ?.
